Health Services We FundMental HealthAdult Community Mental Health ServicesCounties Manukau District Health Board provides a range of community based mental health services. These services offer assessment and treatment/therapy for people aged 18-64 years who live in the Counties Manukau area and are experiencing a serious mental health problem. These services are offered from four locations within Counties Manukau these are:
Anyone can contact these services for assistance, however we prefer you to come to our service with a referral from your GP as she/he is your main health care provider and will continue to be involved in your care. Other specialist mental health services such as crisis services, inpatient services, services for Maori, and services for Pacific Peoples can be accessed by contacting one of the above services. After hours your call will be redirected to an after hours answering service.
